We take extraordinary endeavor to scale up our infrastructural support in the segments of logistics, information technology, factory divisions like foundry, machine shop and product development. Our plant is equipped with the state of art machineries to optimize productivity.

IT Infastructure

IT infrastructure development is inevitable in current situation for even manufacturing units in today’s world. It is indispensable towards process integration and maintaining inter department communication for a flawless workflow.

At RBA Ferro, we are 100% IT compatible with ERP installed that allows inter department communication smoothly. There are biometric attendance machines at the factory gates to record employee attendance and we have upgraded with an online smart human resource management system. Our accounts and billing are also system unified for an error free yield. RBA Ferro is enthusiastic to attain information technology benchmark required to be at an global standard.

Design & Development

  • RBA Ferro Industries has an in-house facility for product design and casting metal flow simulation i.e. Creo Mechanica and Soft Cast to optimize the development time.

 

  • We have set up a fully functional product development team, which works towards providing various planning & engineering solutions for our clients.

Foundry

Manufacturing units are the lifeline of RBA Ferro. We comply zero tolerance policy when it comes to production capacity. Hence, RBA Ferro is upgraded with the state of art facility in assembly line of production.

RBA Ferro has 4 captive foundries for contributing to the export requirements.

Between these foundries we have an installed capacity to produce 20000 Mt of Grey Iron castings and 54000 Mt of Ductile iron castings annually.

We feel proud to announce a fully customized CNC and conventional machine shop specific to each product we machine. RBA Ferro Industries is amongst a hand full of foundries in India using the most sophisticated DISAMATCH 130 horizontal high pressure molding line and Vertical High Pressure Molding Line supported by a complete conveyorized casting handling system including online de gating, de risering and shot blasting system to produce light weight ductile iron castings in India catering to large OEM requirement in fully machined/ sub assembled condition.

Machine Shop

RBA Ferro Industries has 1 traditional Grey Iron foundry with a continuous cupola to economize the cost of production, 2 state of the art foundries with simultaneous jolt squeeze machines and induction furnaces with fully automatic flask less high pressure molding line coupled with automated heated press pour meeting world class standards.

The company has 2 grey iron foundries with an installed capacity of 24000 m/ts/annum and 2 ductile iron foundries with a state-of-the-art fully automatic foundry with installed capacity of over 10,000 m/ts/annum. These foundries manufacture items according to various international standards.

1. Horizontal High Pressure Moulding M/c
  • 160 Noncore moulds per hour
  • 120 cores moulds per hour
  • Mould dimensions: 610 x 508 x 400
  • Maximum mismatch as cast is 0.25mm
  • Superior and excellent surface finish
 
2. Vertical High Pressure Moulding M/c
  • 180 Noncore moulds per hour
  • 120 cores moulds per hour
  • Mould dimensions: 1100 x 1050 x 350
  • Maximum mismatch as cast is 0.5mm
  • Superior and excellent surface finish

 

3. Simultaneous Jolt Squeeze Machines
  • 3 DISA-make machines
  • Flask size of 900 x 900 x 300 /350 mm
  • Flask size of 1200 x 1200 x 300 mm
  • Production of 30 moulds per hour
  • Max mismatch of 1mm in cast condition
 
4. Core Making Facilities
  • 2 cold box core shooters – 80 kg capacity
  • 3 shell core shooters for small precision cores 600×500 mm
  • No bake and CO2 core making facility

 

Surface Protection

We are equally concerned about the base and top coatings on our castings and Our Paint division is equipped with fully conveyorized, automatic modern paint shop with spray booth and airless spray painting equipment imported from France for quality painting. A complete paint shop is available to provide basic rust inhibitor surface treatment. Along with specialized top coats like zinc rich primers, epoxy coat and enamel painting.

  • In-house Phosphate, Fusion bonded Powder epoxy & E-Coat / CED / KTL Mechanized facility is also available.
 
  • RBA Ferro has induction heating bell furnaces for normalizing, annealing and stress reliving and also a surface hardening Induction heating machine with tempering and MPI facility.
     

Inspection & Testing

RBA Ferro has Modern laboratory with fully equipped by latest technology and experienced / certified personnel.

Metallurgical testing:

RBA Ferro lab is fully equipped with spectrometer make “Spectro”, Microscope with built-in-CCD for Image analysis & on line carbon silicon analyser+ Sand testing – sieve shaker, universal sand testing machine, mould hardness tester, permeability meter & moister tester.

Chemical Lab:

Complete wet testing facility is also available for metal to collaborate readings for spectrometer

Physical Lab:

Universal testing machine for tensile and compression & compression strength,Brinell hardness, Micro Vickers & compression Proof load testing machine are available for physical testing
